Seeing the Wonder is for anyone who is missing someone they love, dealing with loss, or looking for a deeper relationship to the wonder of life. This app includes an illustrated love poem and picture journal, both intended to inspire comfort, understanding and sense of connection with the world around us.

The poem, titled See Me in the Wonder, was initially published as a book for all ages. It brings a gentle message that the loved ones we’ve lost are always with us, and can be found in the beauty that is all around. You can make the experience your own by using options to run the poem as a slideshow, hear narration, and listen to nature sounds and music.

The journal provides a space to gather and share your thoughts and photos. Journal entries can be customized and saved to your photo library for sharing with others. The “random” function will show you a past entry for a moment of serendipity. Use this space to gather observations, memories, quotes, anything that gives your heart a feeling of connection.

Note: Long-form journaling is easiest on iPads in portrait orientation.

Using this app as a tool for grief and loss:
